Panels of burl mahogany inlay outlined with barber pole inlay along arms, sides, skirt, and crest. Turned fluted legs. Frame is in excellent condition. Measures 72 inches long, 25 inches deep, 35 and one quarter inches high to back, and 17 and one half inches high to seat. This piece is an exact handmade reproduction of a period American Federal settee. This period English oak country bench with arms has five tombstone panels set into its back. The entire piece is put together with wood pins. The later seat is a replacement for the old rush. Measures 73 inches wide by 25 inches deep and 40 inches to the top of its back. This is the best English bench from this period we have ever handled. This bench retains its original finish, is strong and in wonderful condition.
