This is an assembled set of four "Fan Back Windsor Chairs". Three are exact matches with a fourth that is so close it must have been made by the same cabinet man. This set of American furniture fan back Windsor chairs was purchased in the 1950's from a Connecticut dealer. They were repainted black over green at that time. The seats are extremely comfortable and this set is in very good as found condition. They measure 17 and one eighth inches to the peak of their seats.
