This period American Country Windsor plank seat rocker dates from the late 18th to early 19th century and has long curving arrow back spindles ending in thumb back sides. This is an unusual size at 39 inches to the top of its back,17 and one half inches to the top of the seat, and a 17 inches wide by 15 inches deep inside seating area. the outside arm measurement is 20 inches. We had this rocker completely reglued so it is nice and strong. This rocker has a very warm old nut brown finish. Extremely comfortable and well designed so it will go back just far enough with out the feeling of tipping over backward like most rockers. Made from maple and pine.
