Very fine English Victorian writing lamp table mahogany c1840 to 60. Labeled TH Filmer's Cabinet Chair Upholstery Berners Oxford St UK. This lovely piece is all original including the finish. Made from solid mahogany and mahogany veneer with a single drawer. Each side leg is an exhuberant barley twist ending in a pair of scrolled feet. The single drawer has finely cut hand made dovetails. Measures 32 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 28 and one half inches high.

This American Arts and Crafts period"mahogany umbrella stand" measures 27 and one quarter inches high overall and 10 and seven eighths inches wide and across. Made from beautiful matched solid mahogany. This umbrella stand is not signed but was obviously made by one of the major makers of Arts and Crafts furniture. It has brass capped feet and the original removeable rain-catcher tray which can be seen in one of the accompanying photographs.

Antique German hand carved oak tavern arm chair c1890. This carved oak tavern chair retains its original deep rich finish. Excellent condition. The carving on this chair is deep and well executed. The carving depicts three men in the inside of an old tavern drinking ale. The carving detail shows the windows with items on shelves and chairs and table. This is a very strong chair made from solid oak with a one inch thick back.

Antique Country Pine Chimney Cupboard double door c1800. This primitive country pine antique American country cupboard measures 80 inches high,26 inches wide and 18 and one half inches deep. The top door measures 17 and three quarter inches wide and 50 and one half inches tall. The bottom door measures 22 inches tall and 17 and three quarter inches wide. The inside top shelf spaces measure 14 and three quarter inches, 10 and three quarter inches, 11 inches, and 16 inches. The bottom spaces measure 11 inches and 11 and one half inches. Made from single wide pine boards. This period primitive pine piece retains its old original wall paper on its back single pine board. This cupboard was taken out of a period Colonial house in Glastonbury CT in the 1960's

Eldred Wheeler Reproduction Tiger Maple "Country Chippendale Chest". This hand made bench made "Tiger Maple Chest" was one of the first pieces made by Eldred Wheeler and purchased by our client in the 1970's.The Eldred Wheeler company made some of their most superb examples of Period American Country tiger maple furniture at that time. The tiger maple in this case piece is very pronounced and has a deep rich color. The front cross braces are dovetailed into the case and the drawers have chamfered bottoms, along with wide hand cut dovetails and high bracket feet. The top measures 38 inches wide, 22 inches deep and the case is both 35 inches wide and high. This case piece has a slide that measures 30 and one quarter inches wide by 13 inches deep. The top drawer measures 4 and one quarter inches by 33 and one half inches. The two raised panel doors each measure 20 high by 16 and one half inches wide.
