English split pedestal mahogany dining table in the Duncan Phyfe style. This narrow sized double pedestal table has its original finish. It was made with beautiful chevron mahogany top veneers and banded mahogany edge veneers. Each turned pedestal has three fluted legs that end in solid brass hairy paw feet. The table has one 17 inch extension leaf. It is 35 inches wide, 28 and one half inches high, and 69 and one half inches long. When the leaf is added, it extends to 86 and one half inches long. Made circa 1900.
