Best known as the founder of the early 1980s Memphis collective, he also designed iconic electronic products for Olivetti, as well as beautiful glass and ceramics. This table measures 25.75 inches high, with a base that is 19 inches wide and 3 feet 8 inches long. The glass top measures 3 feet 11.5 inches. Condition, some use wear to base,and a small chip on the edge of the glass top along with some use surface scratches to the glass. This coffee tables design comes from the "Memphis movement".Memphis is, with Post-Modernism, a design language created as a reaction to Modernism; it differs from Post-Modernism in that it does not draw on historical architectural forms, and has a strong Pop inspiration.
