English Welsh oak dresser c1840 Item # 5666 Click HERE to inquire about this item Oak Welsh dresser circa 1840 in rare small size. Lowboy base with 2 drawers and Queen Anne legs. Closed back plate rack with center cup cabinet. Beautifully proportioned for smaller rooms. The base is 42 inches wide by 17 and three quarters inches deep by 30 and three quarters inches high. The top is 42 inches high by 8 inches deep by 43 and three quarters inches wide at the widest point, the top molding. The top shelf can take plates up to 13 inches, and the lower shelves can take plates up to 8 and one half inches. The cup cupboard is 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep on the inside. All original and in excellent condition. This piece is on display in our gallery at Clock Tower Antiques Center and can be seen in-person by visiting 824 E Main Street, Branford, CT. 06405.
