The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 35 and one half inches to the top of their backs and 18 and one half inches to the top of their seats. Each chair was hand made from the finest matching mahogany with banded flame birch inserts.The Margolis furniture store was in Hartford CT. This table was made from the finest matching solid mahogany. The straight tapered legs have a line fine line inlay and the skirt has a wonderful banding all around. The center of the top of the table was cut from a single board so when the table is closed the grain lines up. The table comes with the original rack for the leaves and pads. There are three 14 inch leaves. Two have skirts with banded inlay to match the table, one has no skirt. The table measures 68 inches by 42 inches and 29 and one half inches high. When the leaves are in the table can expand to 110 inches or over 9 feet. The Margolis furniture store was in Hartford CT. They reproduced the best examples of period 18th and early 19thc American furniture designs during the early 20th century. Stamped on the underside Handmade by The Nathan Margolis Shop Hartford Conn.
