This set of four matching painted country chairs date from 1820 to 1830 and are signed by the maker.Each chair measures 34 inches to the back,17 inches to the seat,18 and one half wide at feet,16 and one half inches at seat and 16 inches deep at feet. The makers stamp is impressed on the reverse of each seat it is S Buss. Buss worked in Sterling Mass in Worchester County in the early 19th century. Signed sets chairs are rare we hardly ever get them. Excellent original condition with some minor seat repairs. These set of chairs is both strong and comfortable.

This American Victorian spool side book case is quite unusual with its spool turned legs and side supports. This bookcase retains its original finish and measures 32 inches wide,59 and one half to the top of the back. The shelf above the single drawer measures 12 inches deep,the two bottom shelves each measure 10 and one half inches. The self above the drawer measures 9 inches deep and the top shelf measures 6 inches deep. This is a very sturdy and strong piece. Notice the large hand cut dovetails hold the back together in one of the pictures we have provided. Small bookcases are very hard for us to come by.

Original Limbert American Arts and Crafts movement single side chair in oak. This "Limbert" chair has its original finish. Very good condition with wooden pin construction. The limbert seal is burned into the underneath of the seat. Limbert was one of the premier American Arts and Crafts companies. This Limbert chair measures 37 inches to the top of its sides,18 inches to the top of the middle of the seat,16 inches deep over all and 17 and one quarter inches wide at the front of the chair. This is similar to the #901 in the Limberts original catalog.

This American Hepplewhite country stand was made with a cherry base and a pine single board top. The stand has a well made large hand cut dovetailed drawer and wooden pin construction. This stand measures 19 and one half inches wide, 17 and three quarters inches deep and 27 and one eight inches high. Nice original old red wash finish on base and scrubbed and old waxed finish top.
