English leather and mahogany desk arm chair c1820. This is a period Georgian leather chair in solid mahogany. The leather is in excellent condition and so is the chair. This antique desk or side chair is quite comfortable and strong. There are some wear marks on the back side of the leg that prove its age. The over all measurements of this chair are 25 inches wide by 20 inches deep, 34 and one half to the top of the back and 27 inches to the top of the arms.

Antique 19th century English pub bar c1875. This antique bar is the perfect size at 56 and one half inches wide by 26 inches deep and 34 inches high. The top is made from zinc. The original brass coin tray is still mounted on the surface of the bar. The sink measures 25 by 13 inches. At the widest part the top measures 56 and one quarter inches widest point.

New England Connecticut Cherry Queen Anne sideboard c1760. This American Queen Anne sideboard or server might have been the base to a high boy at one time. The center drawer has a later carved Connecticut seal that was adopted in 1784. See www.statehousegirls.net/ct/symbols/seal to learn more about the CT great seal. Made form solid cherry. Measures 47 and one half inches wide by 36 and three quarter inches high and 22 inches deep. Compartmented top drawer for silverware. Just in from a West Hartford CT estate.

American Sheraton mahogany writing table desk c1820

Antique American Sheraton mahogany writing table desk c1820. This period Federal furniture desk is the perfect size, measuring 36 inches wide by 19 and one half inches deep, 32 inches to the writing surface and 40 inches to the top of the back splash. The top back splash and the single drawer are put together with large hand cut dovetails. There are two old cracks in the top wide board which is typical of writing desks from this period. (we show them in one of the pictures provided) The legs are thin and graceful just they way we like to see country Sheraton furniture. There are five compartments for letters, each measuring 6 and three quarters wide.

Jens Risom Modern design office desk credenza file cabinet in teak c1960. This file credenza was made from solid teak and teak veneers and is finished on both sides so it could be used in the middle of a room. Measures 72 inches long by 20 inches deep and 26 inches high. Original finish with some surface use marks. "Jens Risom’s career has spanned nearly sixty years. He began his study of design in the Copenhagen workshop of Kaare Klint in 1935 and joined Ernst Kuhn’s architectural office in 1938, where he designed furniture and interiors. In 1939, Risom emigrated to the U.S. and in 1941 designed the first chair manufactured by Knoll. Risom continued to create simple, well-crafted modern furniture with Knoll and George Jensen, but established his own design studio, Jens Risom Design, in 1946. The studio was acquired by Dictaphone in 1970 and in 1973, Risom became chief executive of Design Control, a Connecticut based design consultancy" This biography information was taken from http://www.dwr.com/designers/?designer_id=290
