This set of four "Schmeig and Kotzian" mahogany stacking tables are in original condition with their original finish and label. Schmeig and Kotzian made the finest reproduction furniture a the turn of the last century. They were located in New York at 521 East 72 nd Street. Designers and Cabinet Makers. They reproduced by hand the the rarest examples of period American and English furniture from the 18th and early 19th century using the best woods available at the time. Closed this set measures 25 and one half inches high by 19 and one half inches wide by 13 and one half inches deep. The smallest of the pull out tables measures 13 inches wide by 11 and one half inches deep and 22 and one quarter inches high, the next measures 15 and one half inches wide by 12 inches deep by 23 and one quarter inches high, the last measures 17 and one half inches wide by 13 inches deep and 24 and one half inches high. Each table has a beautiful center oval crotch mahogany oval design.

This Regency Style flat top library desk was made by "Schmeig and Kotzian" original condition including its finish and label. Schmeig and Kotzian made the finest reproduction furniture. They were located in New York at 521 East 72 nd Street. Designers and Cabinet Makers. They reproduced by hand the the rarest examples of period American and English furniture from the 18th and early 19th century using the best woods available at the time. The condition is quite good with some surface use marks which is to be expected from a desk with its original finish. This library desk measures 38 inches wide 26 inches deep and 30 inches high with two 10 and three quarter inches leaves with add another 21 and one half inches when opened to 50 inches. The two drawers have hand cut dovetails and each measure 2 and three quarter inches high by 16 inches wide. We could not sell you a finer piece of hand bench made furniture.

This lovely console table was sold by Bloomingdales and retains their original label. Just in from a CT estate. Measures 44 and one half inches wide by 12 inches deep and 25 and one half inches high. Two 18 and one half by 3 and one quarter inch drawers. The table has a wonderful parquet top and flared legs.

This period English Queen Anne swing leg drop leaf table is a very difficult size to come by measuring 30 inches wide by 15 and one half inches deep by 28 inches high with two 10 inch leaves. The condition is quite good with a few old minor repairs. One leaf has a slight warp but that is to be expected from a period table.

This wonderful pine and chestnut tavern table measures 36 and one half inches deep by 60 and one half inches wide by 27 and three quarter inches high. It measures 22 inches from the floor to the bottom of the tables skirt where a chair would be pushed under. The table has a old label in the drawer with a date from when some old work was done to it in 1905. The top is original. If you look at the photographs we have provided of the underneath you can see the marks made when people use to clamp apple and cherry peelers to early tables when working in the country kitchen.
