Antique American Federal dining chairs in mahogany set of 12

Centennial set of twelve American Federal chairs.For reference, please see Wallace Nuttings' Furniture Treasury item number 2395, which is described as Central Reeded Banister Chairs. Fan shaped at the top, and crossed by a festoon (swag). Fluted legs with stretchers. Centennial set. Copy of a period circa 1795 set hand made around 1875 to 1885. The Antique Federal arm chairs measure 18 inches wide inside the arms. The backs measure 18 and three quarter inches high from the seats, and the seats are 18 inches deep. They measure 26 and one quarter inches high to the arm tops, 20 and one half inches deep at the bases, 19 and one half inches high to the seats, and 35 and three quarter inches high overall. The side chairs measure 21 and one half inches wide at the fronts, 20 and one half inches deep at the bases, 18 inches deep at the seats, and 18 and three quarter inches high from the seats. This antique Chinese chair measures 27 and three quarter inches high to the arm. The seat back measures 19 and one half inches high. The seat measures 16 inches to the back and 18 inches wide inside of the arms. This chair measures 16 and three quarter inches high to the seat top. The chair measures 22 and three quarter inches deep overall and the overall height is 35 and one half inches high. Late 19th Century.

This "Console table" dates from the turn of the last century. Roman revival period chair, made between 1895 to 1910. Antique Hand Carved walnut Savonarola chair.This antique Savannarola style chair dates from the late 19th century and has wonderful carved detail including female torsos, leaves and berries, and lion head medallions. The chair is in excellent condition retaining its original finish. It measures 37 and one half inches to the top of its back crest, 29 inches to the top of its arms,25 inches wide at the arms, 17 inches to the top of the seat and 18 inches to the top of the cushion. The inside measurement is 20 inches wide and 17 inches deep. This highly decorative carved chair is quite unusual and well carved.
