This period English Regency spade foot desk dates from 1820 and is in excellent original condition.This rare antique English desk has a wonderful fitted interior with drawers and pull outs,each with satinwood inlay. The desk measures 30 inches wide by 16 and one half inches deep and 39 and one half inches high. It is 28 and one half inches to the writing surface. The lid is 14 inches high and when lowered it creates a total writing surface of 21 inches deep. The two bottom drawers each measure 11 and three quarter inches by 3 and one quarter inches.The superb inlay is the work of a master craftsman.
