This is one of the highest quality tables we have come by. From the estate of Katharine Hepburn in Old Saybrook CT. Made form the most beautiful matched American solid black walnut. Measures 69 inches long and 48 inches wide with the leaves out, and 105 inches long by 48 inches wide with both 11 inches wide leaves in. The table was made in the 18th century Ducan Phyfe style, with two tilttop pedestals which allow for easy storage. There are two solid walnut rails that slide into the supports under each pedestal that hold the leaves, along with six brass u shape clamps. The table is in excellent condition.

Mortensen Heltborg Denmark Danish Modern dining set; oval table and six chairs, two arm four sides, with two 15" leaves, 48" x 74, opens to 114". Very good original condition C 1960 - 1970. The chairs are beautifully designed, made from solid teak and are both strong and comfortable. The chairs each have two solid bronze balls which serve as added design accents. The table separates into two pedestals with slides which open to accommodate two large leaves.
