This set of "French chairs" were carved by a master carver and date from the mid to late 19th century.The side chairs measure 19 inches at their widest point, the seat front and are 18 and one half inches high to the seat. The seat is 15 and one half inches deep. The top back measures 20 and one half inches wide and is 37 inches high. The armchairs measure 18 inches wide at the back of the arms, on the inside, and 21 and one quarter inches wide at the front, inside. The seat is 20 inches deep. The seat is widest at front, at 25 and one half inches. The chair measures 18 and one half inches high to the seat top.
