Antique American Folk Art Inlaid Table

Folk Art Inlaid Table. This inlaid "Folk Art table" measures 29 inches high to the table top and is 19 and one half inches square at the top. The top and bottom shelf are set with hand cut individual pieces of wood in diamond patterns that form a wonderful star burst effect. This unusual piece of American Folk Art dates from 1880 and is in excellent original condition.

American Victorian walnut plant stand c1875. This American "Victorian Plant Stand" was made from solid black walnut and is in excellent original condition. This walnut plant stand measures 33 inches high and 12 inches across its top. The center of this plant stand has a long fluted column. This is not only a difficult piece to find the workmanship is excellent and its petite size is perfect for a corner in any room.

Antique American Aesthetic Movement Etagere Bookcase in Walnut measures 65 inches high, 51 inches wide. Top shelf is 10 and one half inches deep, serving shelf measures 17 inches deep. Two interior areas are 27 and one quarter inches wide by 13 and one half inches deep and 14 inches high, inside. 4 outside shelves measures 13 and one half inches high and 12 and one half inches deep. Hand tooled leather area depicting leaves and berries measures 25 and one half inches wide and curves up 10 and one half inches. The double glass mirror measures 24 and three quarter inches wide and is 8 inches high. Overall depth is 18 inches. This is a rare piece because of both its open shelves and hand tooled leather insert. All original including its finish. This is such a versitlle piece.It would work either as a bookcase, Etagere, or server. C1880

Rare Harold Margolish miniature tavern table. This "miniature tavern table" was made by "Harold Margolis" in Hartford CT 1947. Etched into the bottom surface of the top is "Presented to Cedric G Thompson by Harold D. Margolis Hartford, Conn May 26, 1947. The rare little table is made form curly maple and pine. The table is all handmade with hand turnings,mortised joints and wooden pins just like a period table would have been made from the 18th century. We doubt that very many tables like it exist. This table was given as a gift and is most likely one of a kind. This childrens table measures

Centennial Drop Front Chippendale desk. This "Centennial furniture" drop front "Chippendale desk" dates from 1875 to 1885 and is made from fine solid mahogany. This serpentine front Chippendale style desk was hand made from old would to look like a true 18th century American Chippendale desk..The full interior is as good as it gets being fully compartmented. The center shell carved door opens to reveal two drawers. There is a secret compartment behind these two drawers which we show in one the photographs provided. This beautiful desk measures 40 and one quarter inches wide by 23 inches deep by 40 and one quarter inches high and 30 and three quarters inches to the top of the writing surface when open. The quality of this desk is so high that it looks 18th century. If this desk were period it would cost several hundred thousand dollars. All original including its keys.
