Marcel Breuer chrome chair and footrest, made by Thonet c1925. This is an original chair and footrest by the famous designer "Marcel Breuer" in original condition including fabric. Marcel Lajos Breuer was born in Pécs, Hungary in 1902.Thanks to the innovative aluminum, tubular steel and plywood pieces he designed first at the Bauhaus in 1920s Germany and then as an émigré in 1930s. This set has never been re chromed. This set is for a museum or advanced Modern furniture collector, not meant for personal use. The chair measures 32 inches to the top of its back,16 inches to the seat and 26 inches to the top of its arms

Antique French pair provincial walnut pannetiere cupboards c1750

18th c pair of French provincial walnut pannetieres, or pantry cupboards, c1750. This is a matched pair of period eighteenth century country French cupboards in a rare form and size. The decorative panel carving on each cupboard is narrative and artistic. One features a fruit basket and a mandolin, the other features a flower basket and a drum. The urns at the base even have different handles. Each pannetiere measure 69 and one half inches high by 15 inches deep. They are each 24 and three quarter inches wide at the top molding and 21 inches at the case. Excellent condition. Some of the back boards and shelves have been replaced over the years, and some repairs have been made to the back legs and top moldings. The color of the walnut is a deep rich nut brown color which can only be found on period pieces. Pannetieres were used to store breads and other foodstuffsin the provincial kitchen. These were probably placed on either side of the hearth.

English 18th century Queen Anne Lowboy. This English Queen Anne Lowboy has a very rare serpentine front and scallop top. There has been some restoration to the four feet, they where ended out about four to five inches each. Measures 30 inches wide 17 and one half inches deep and 27 and one half inches high.

Early American country steel blue painted cupboard c1840. This antique kitchen cupboard retains is original pale steel blue painted surface. It has never been waxed so it has a nice dry look. There is one repair to the back left foot. This American country cupboard is a rare size measuring 41 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 55 inches high. The two doors each measure 15 inches. The shelf space is 11 and one quarter on the bottom two shelves and 12 and one quarter on the top to shelves.

Early teal blue painted blanket chest c1800. This antique six board American painted pine blanket chest has all its original rare teal blue paint. The butt hinges where replaced many years ago with antique strap hinges.This piece was constructed with large fine cut hand made dovetails. C1800. Measures 41 inches wide by 15 and three quarter inches deep by 16 inches high. Blankets chests also work well as coffee tables.
