18th century Pennsylvania walnut chest on frame with duck feet

18th century Pennsylvania furniture country walnut chest on frame with duck feet c1760. The base has a molding with scalloped aprons and cabriole legs terminating in trifid feet. This two piece chest on frame measures 57 and one quarter inches high, 20 and one half deep at the case and 22 inches at the top molding, 37 and one half inches wide at case and 40 and one quarter at the top molding. Excellent deep rich dark walnut color. Old waxed finish. Some minor repairs above two of the locks, and one top corner molding. This diminutive country piece is the perfect size. Just in from an Essex CT estate.

Connecticut cherry snake foot inlaid tripod base candlestand c1790. Single board top. This table is in excellent condition including its pad feet. Lovely high arched legs dovetailed into an inlaid center turning. The edge and sides of the top are also inlaid. The table measures 27 and one half inches high. The single board cherry top is 18 by 17 and five eighth inches wide.

Pair American ball and claw foot mahogany Chippendale Centennial chairs c1875. Each chair measures 39 inches to the top of its back, 18 inches to the top of the seat, 18 inches deep overall, 22 inches wide and knees and 20 inches wide at the top. This is a true 1st quality pair made in America from the finest solid matched mahogany during the mid 19th century. Superb craftsmanship, excellent condition in original finish. The seats are easily removed.

Centennial mahogany Chippendale style partners desk c1875. This partners desk has drawers on one side and faux drawers on the other. Each of the five drawers has large hand cut dovetails. The entire desk was made from beautiful solid mahogany. The gadrooned edge is hand cut not applied. The four legs have carved knees ending in well executed carved ball and claw feet. This is just a stunning desk in excellent condition. Measures 54 inches wide by 32 inches deep and 30 inches high. The inside are where the desk chair would fit is 20 inches wide by 22 and one half inches off the floor.

Set of twelve vintage matching French fruitwood dining chairs distributed by Degaal and Walker NY. This set came to us from a Newport RI mansion next to the Breakers. This set was purchased from Degaal and Walker 405 East 62nd St NY 21 NY. The original labels are underneath the seats. The set was made from solid fruitwood. Each chair is strong, comfortable and in excellent original condition. The side chairs measure 38 inches high to the top of their backs, 20 inches wide,16 inches deep and 18 and one half inches to the top of the seat. The arm chairs both measure 23 inches wide, 38 inches to the top of their backs and 18 and one half inches to the top of their seats.
