Antique Wallace Nutting tilt top pie crust tea table candlestand c1920

Antique Wallace Nutting furniture tilt top pie crust tea table or candlestand c1920. This tilt top table is and exact reproduction, made by the famous furniture company of Wallace Nutting. Nutting author of "Furniture Treasury" a book that documented the finest examples of American furniture of the late 16th, 17th,18th and early 20th century in America, started a furniture company that copied the best examples from those periods. His cabinet men used similar woods and construction methods. Dish top carving, not applied carving, dovetailed legs and hand fluted columns. This table retains its original finish and is in mint condition. Measures 25 and three quarters inches high when closed, 37 inches high when open and 18 inches across. Century Furniture Company pair mahogany bedside tables c1920

Pair of hand made bench made mahogany stands made by the Century Furniture company c1910 to 1920. Each stand has three drawers with solid brass swag pulls. This is one of the finest pairs of bedside stands we have sold by this company.They are quite strong and heavy. The original label reads "Century Furniture Grand Rapids Michigan Designers, Manufacturers and Importers of Fine Furniture Fabrics and works D Art New York Chicago Paris. The quality of this pair of stands is so high that the tops and back are veneered with rare plum pudding mahogany. Each stand measures 27 inches to the top,28 inches to the top of the bronze gallery, 12 inches deep, and 18 inches wide.

Early Victorian mahogany half commode with slide and door c1860. This American lamp table was made from solid mahogany and book matched mahogany veneers. Excellent condition. This bedside or night stand has a slide that can be moved to one side or the other for easy use. Measures 30 and seven eighths inches high, 19 inches wide and 15 and one half inches deep.

Federal Sheraton Mahogany drapery carved side chair c1900. The craftsmanship in this chair is as good as it gets. The hand carved back with its intersection curves, carved drapery, tapered spade feed are all masterfully done. We did not take to upholstery off the bottom to see if it is signed so it is possible that this chair was made by either Nathan Margolis or Wallace Nutting. This fine side chair measures 37 and one half inches to the top of its back, 17 and three quarter inches to the top of the seat and 17 inches wide at the seat. There is one old repair to a part of the back shield but it done by and expert and is strong and very hard to notice.

Victorian Oak folding four seat Ferry deck bench c1900. This antique oak bench, or settee, folds up for easy storage. Each of the four seats folds up individually as well. Excellent condition and original finish. This is a very sturdy and comfortable bench. These benches where used on the decks of ferry boats, steamships, and lake boats during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This antique bench measures 73 inches wide, 32 inches to the to of its back, 16 inches deep folds to seven inches
