Period 18thc Antique red pine jelly cupboard

Period 18thc Antique red pine jelly cupboard. This period antique Jelly cupboard dates from 1750 to 1780 and retains all its original drop dead dry red paint. The top mortises into the sides and the hand wrought hooks hold it down. The doors have hand made hinges and pins that hold them in place. This cupboard is extremely unusual because of its depth at 27 and one half inches. It also measures 72 inches high and 50 and one quarter inches wide. Old wide pine back boards are held on with a series of wooden pins which are all original. there is one old replaced board on the bottom back but other than that it is in wonderful as found untouched condition.

Antique French Papier Mache Coffee Table. This antique French "Papier Mache tray" dates from 1860. The base was made in the 1930 to 1950 period to make the tray into a coffee table. This is the best antique Papier Mache Coffee table we have ever had. The raised curves are so unusual to see in a tray from this period. This table was purchased in Paris and brought back to the USA years ago. Mint condition measuring 25 and one half inches deep, 30 and three quarters wide,18 inches to top of rim and 17 to surface.

Antique oak book case with original glass. This lovely Victorian oak single door bookcase retains it original blown glass and bottom single drawer with wide hand made dovetails. " American Victorian bookcase" measures 69 and one half inches high by 26 and one half inches wide and 14 and one half inches deep. Excellent condition with shelves. Oak bookcases this size are so hard to come by. We only get in one or two a year. C1880

Antique Carved Continental Oak Blanket Chest with Hidden document Drawer. This Rare travel box has a secret compartment. The side slides up to reveal a hidden drawer. All hand made original hardware. The front and top are set with marquetry. The primary wood is oak. This lovely piece dates from the mid 19thc. This handmade piece is a later copy of a Renaissance designs. Measures 28 and one quarter inches wide by 17 and three quarters inches deep and 15 and three quarter inches high. The inside secret drawer measures 13 inches wide by 24 inches long and 1 and three quarter inches high.Very good original as found condition,missing key.

Antique English card tables, Edwardian Mahogany Envelope Folding Card Table c1875 to1885. This lovely "Edwardian card table" has banded inlay all around its top,face and legs, had cut dovetailed drawer and envelope drop leaves on its top. The top turns so that the four enveloped drop leaves can be held by the table top surface for strength. This antique game table measures 22 inches deep,21 and seven eighths inches wide,29 and one half inches high and has four 11 inch leaves. The top retains is old mellow fabric,surface and has four cut out cups in the mahogany leaves to hold chips or coins. Just a lovely game table. Just in from a Chester CT estate.
