Early American Butternut lift top blanket chest c1800

Early American country butternut lift top blanket chest with drawer c1800. This blanket chest was made from solid single wide butternut boards. Butternut is a wood that was used mainly in New Hampshire. The bracket base front legs have lovely fine cut dovetails. We believe that there is a strong possibility that this blanket chest could have been made by the Canterbury or Enfield Shakers. Measures 43 inches wide at the case, 44 and one half inches at the base, 17 and one half inches deep at the case and 18 and one half inches at the base and 25 and three quarter inches high.

J J Meeks Museum quality Rosewood Gothic marble top table NY c1830 to 1840. This American Victorian Rosewood parlor or center table is in mint condition retaining its original finish and marble top. This table is not signed but we know it is Meeks from previous examples we have sold that were very similar. This a very rare form. Measures 40 inches wide by 27 and three quarters inches deep and 29 and three quarter inches high.

American Victorian Gentlemans walnut lockside chest c1880 with gallery and original finish. A superb example of American Victorian walnut furniture. This chest is called a lock side because the side molding closes over all the drawers so that when looked no one can access any of the drawers. Tall lockside chests with this quality hand craftsmanship were expensive in their day and now very hard to come by. Measures 33 inches wide at the top molding, 30 and one quarter inches wide at the case, 20 and one half inches deep at top molding, 19 and one half inches deep at case, 59 and one half inches to the top of the back splash and 56 inches to the top of the dresser.

Wallace Nutting four drawer mahogany Chippendale chest 941 with og bracket base and fluted columns, signed c1929. This Wallace Nutting graduated four drawer chest of drawers is in the original Wallace Nutting catalogue page 53. Retains its original finish and label. Signed inside top left drawer. Measures 37 inches high by 38 inches wide by 19 inches deep. This is an exact reproduction, made by the famous furniture company of Wallace Nutting. Nutting author of "Furniture Treasury" a book that documented the finest examples of American furniture of the late 16th, 17th,18th and early 20th century in America, started a furniture company that copied the best examples from those periods. His cabinet men used similar woods and construction methods.

American Victorian oak Sideboard server by Toby Chicago C1890. This highly unusual solid oak side board was made by the Toby company of Chicago. It retains its original finish, large solid brass hardware and copper coated hinges. Measures 58 inches wide, 71 and one half inches to the top of its back splash with beveled mirror, 37 inches to the top of its surface and 22 to 24 inches deep from side to center.
