There have been some repairs to the chair over the years which we show in our photographs and in the Victorian times someone put casters on the back legs which we have removed. That stated it is a wonderful chair an a rare one with the triple tier back. This would make a wonderful addition to any period home it is both strong and comfortable. This American Windsor chair measures 16 and one half inches to its seat and 43 and one half inches to the top of its back.

This is one of the most beautiful painted trays we have had with painted peacocks and flowers. The later base was made to hold the tray so it could be used as a coffee table.

This style of desk came about during the reign of King George III 1780 (hence, the term Georgian). This desk was probably made around 1940 to 1950. The particular style of carving around all the edges of this desk is called a gadroon edge.The edge on this desk was machine-carved and hand finished. The legs and feet were machine turned, but also carved and finished in detail by hand. Dovetailed drawers, good proportions, and attractive design details make this a high quality piece of furniture.
