Antique American Victorian Walnut Cylinder Desk

Antique American Walnut Victorian Cylinder Desk. This American Victorian desk is made from solid walnut with a walnut veneer cylinder. The leather insert slides out to allow for more surface area which would be perfect for a lap top. Full interior,brass gallery,center drawer with four wide hand cut dovetailed side drawers. This is one of the best cylinder desks we have ever acquired. It is a lovely mellow light walnut color. C1865. This Victorian cylinder desk measures 48 and one half inches at the widest point, where the two parts are adjoined. 53 inches high overall, including the metal rail top. 31 and one half inches deep overall, at the middle again. This walnut desk measures 30 inches high to the desk top and the desk is 44 inches wide and thirteen and one half inches high inside.

Antique French Country Server. This French cupboard or server dates from 1750 to 1775. All handmade with wooden pin construction. This is just a fantastic piece. Excellent original condition with old hand waxed finish. Just in from a Chester CT estate. This French country server measures 39 and one quarter inches high and is 57 and one half inches wide, and 34 and three quarter inches deep. The drawer is 24 inches wide inside and 3 inches deep down. The inside width is 50 and three quarter inches wide and 21 and one half inches deep. The bottom shelf is 16 inches high and the top shelf is 9 and one half inches high (under the drawer).

Antique French Upholstered Love Seat. this "French love seat" was made from Walnut and is all hand carved with the finest detail. Obviously carved by a master. This French settee dates from the French Victorian period around 1860. Newly upholstered. This walnut loveseat measures 51 inches wide, overall and is 31 inches high overall. The back is 18 inches high and the seat is 45 inches wide, inside the arms. This French sofa measures 22 inches high to the seat, is 31 inches deep overall and measures 25 inches high to the top of the arm wrests. ** By the consignor's request the price of this item has been reduced from $2250 **

Antique 18th Century Georgian Linen Press

Antique 18th Century Georgian Linen Press. This antique Georgian linen press measures 71 and three quarter inches tall overall, 47 and one quarter inches wide at the widest point, on the cornice. This piece of Georgian furniture measures 23 and one half inches at the deepest point, at the cornice and is the same on the bottom, at the legs. The doors are 22 inches wide by 33 and three quarter inches tall. The top piece, inside drawers are 40 and three quarter inches wide. The top drawer is 5 and one quarter inches deep down. The next drawer down is 6 and one half inches deep down, the next drawer is 7 and one quarter inches deep down, and the bottom drawer in top portion of this cabinet measures 8 and three quarter inches deep down. The inside drawers are later handmade replacements made just the way they originally made.The bottom section drawers are 43 inches wide and the top drawer is 9 inches deep down and the bottom drawer, bottom section, is 10 and three eighths inches deep down. The base is all original and so are the brass pulls.The inside of the two solid mahogany doors are raised panel. Excellent hard to find size.

Standard desk company,Antique Victorian "Standard" Oak Partners Desk. This wonderful antique Victorian oak partners desk measures 60 inches wide by 48 inches across, at the top. This oak partners desk measures 30 inches high to the desk top. The sitting area measures 24 and one quarter inches high to the bottom of the drawer base, and is 25 and one half inches wide. The pull out writing surfaces measures approx. 18 and one half inches deep by 13 and one quarter inches wide. The drawers measure 12 and one quarter inches wide, 4 and one half inches deep down, and 19 and one half inches deep to the back. The middle drawers measures 19 and 13 sixteenths inches deep by 2 and one half inches deep down, and each are 24 and one half inches wide. Raised panel sides. We have only had one other oak partners desk in all the years. This one came to us from RI where it was used for well over 100 years in the board room of an old American textile company. Made by the Standard desk company. Excellent condition with new hand rubbed finish. Each drawer works perfectly. The desk is made form solid tiger oak.
