Light golden "blonde" wood finishes, on figured and plain maple, were very popular from about 1920 to about 1940. The origin of this birdseye maple vanity is most likely Grand Rapids, Michigan. This was the center of our country's furniture manufacturing industry from the late 19th century well into the middle twentieth century. Excellent original condition. Measures 50 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 32 inches high.

- - - - - - - - | Early American cherry corner cupboard  Item # 3541 Click HERE to inquire about this item Early American cherry corner cupboard The cabinet is 78" High, 45 1/2 " wide and 25" deep. A lovely antique mid-Atlantic country piece, dating to about 1800. The wood appears to be cherry. In the south, cherry was mainly used by Maryland and North Carolina cabinet makers. The crown molding and inlay are particularly nice features. The inlay is probably holly or maple. The doors have raised panels inside and flat panels on the outside; that was how 18th century country cabinets were made. Later on, people decided that raised panels looked better on the outside.

This "Salterini furniture" set originally had a natural dark gray finish but was repainted white several years ago.It was made between 1940 and 1950. It is very high quality, and was obviously made to last as it is about 60 years old (not antique, but certainly vintage). This dining set, consisting of a table, 6 chairs, and a teacart.

It is in the style of Louis XVI, it was made about 100 years after his period, during the latter part of the 19th century. The carving was all done by hand, but it is not quite as delicate as its 18th century counterpart would be. It is very attractive with a lovely floral swag . Measures 30 inches high and 23 and one half inches in diameter.
