There is an old tag on the bottom from a New York dealer stating the seat is a combination of horse and hog hair. Connecticut bench made four drawer bow front dresser c1930 Item # 7343 Click HERE to inquire about this item This piece is an exact hand made reproduction of an American Connecticut Country Chippendale bow front graduated four drawer chest with fluted columns, on OG footed base. The drawers are all made with large hand cut dovetails and hand chamfered bottoms. The back has hand chamfered raised panels. This chest is made from solid matched mahogany and measures 45 inches wide, 23 and one half inches deep at the center, 20 and one half at the sides, and 37 inches high.
