Yew wood is strong and one of the most beautiful woods. This chair has a high back, cut out center splat and large bulbous turnings to its legs. Excellent condition. A very comfortable chair for anyone to sit in for long periods of time. Measures 45 and one half inches high to the top of its back,17 and one half inches to the top of its seat, 27 and one half inches to the top of its arms, 22 inches deep and 25 inches to the outside of its arms. English Georgian yew wood oyster veneer four drawer chest c1740 Item # 5058 Click HERE to inquire about this item Period English Georgian yew wood oyster veneer four drawer chest c1740. This antique English chest is quite rare with its oyster veneers on the top and drawer fronts. Some minor old repairs and replaced brasses. This middle Georgian chest probably had ball feet originally. They were replaced by a bracket base when Chippendale style came into fashion a few decades later. The drawers have large hand cut dovetails and line inlay. A handsome piece. It measures 37 and one half inches in both height and width, by 18 and one half deep. Italian design Cappellini cherry dining table Item # 5059 Click HERE to inquire about this item Italian Modern furniture design Cappellini cherry dining table. This table is the very best of Italian design. Cappellini designs are known all over the world as being some of the Modern Period. Cappellini was founded in 1946. This table is not being made any more, it is from the 1970 to 1980. The base is made from solid stock cherry and each leg is held together with very fine dovetails, and has a leveler on its bottom so the table can sit absolutely still. The solid glass top measures 55 inches round and one half inch thick. The table is 29 and one quarter inches high. Each leg is 3 inches square.
