This "Antique Pair of New England Ladder Back Chairs circa 1830 " measures 38 and one half inches overall. These antique chairs are each 14 inches deep at the base, and 17 inches high to the seat. These antique New England ladder back chairs measure 18 and one half inches wide at the front and 14 and one half inches wide at the back on the seats. The back of these ladder back chairs measures 22 inches high from the seat to the top.This pair of chairs were made from maple and have oak or chestnut turnings that are all original with wonderful wear to them. The curved back stats are wooden pinned and the seats are real ash. A true pair which is hard to find.
