Signed Potthast mahogany inlaid bedside table

Potthast Bros one drawer American Federal style inlaid stand. This wonderful stand was made by the Potthast Brothers in Baltimore MD in 1940. This bed stand was made from fine mahogany with hand cut wide dovetailed drawers. Signed on the inside drawer.Retains its original finish This fine piece of American bench made furniture measures 29 and one quarter inches high,18 inches wide by 15 deep. This stand has a wonderful crotch mahogany veneer door panel and wonderful line inlay.Potthast was one of the top makers and is heavily collected.

Antique Diminutive Mahogany Federal sideboard Server. This "diminutive server" American Federal style diminutive Hepplewhite, serpentine front, straight tapered leg, side board. Rare. circa 1880. Hand made.Maple inlays, original finish and original key, this Hepplewhite sideboard or server measures 39 and one half inches wide by 33 inches high. This Federal server measures 14 inches deep at the sides and 18 and one half inches in the center.

Period American country painted blanket chest in red. This Antique American painted pine blanket chest retains its original red wash and brass pulls. Mint condition. Finding period country blanket chests in this condition is near impossible. The back boards are wide and hand chamfered. This superb piece of American Country painted furniture measures 44 and a quarter inches wide 43 and a quarter inches high and 20 inches deep. The two bottom drawers measure 9 and one half inches and 7 and three quarters inches. C1810.

Aesthetic Movement Davenport walnut burl desk. This Antique Davenport desk had ebonized panels with gilt incising. This rare desk measures 31 inches wide, 50 inches high overall, depth 22 inches. Writing surface pulls out to 28 and one half inches. The writing surface is 27 and three quarters high. The compartments on the front are 8 and three eighth inches deep and 17 and one quarter inches high and 6 and one eighth inches wide. The two drawers on the right side of the desk are four and three quarters inches high sixteen inches wide and twelve and seven eighth inches deep. The left had cabinet measure 13 inches deep 11 and three quarters inches high and eighteen and one quarter inches wide.Original finish C1880. We have never seen a desk like this in our 30 years of selling fine antique furniture. This desk has side drawer, compartments and a pull out writing surface. This is such a sweet piece it would great in any area of a home.

Antique Pair of American Victorian walnut Chairs. This pair of Victorian chairs measures 33 and one half inches high. The seat is 19 inches deep 23 inches wide and the back is 16 and one half inches high. The feet are 15 and one half inches deep and 14 and one half inches wide. This lovely pair dates from 1855 to 1870 and they are in excellent condition including their original finish. Just in from an important CT River Valley Estate.
