Wonderfully constructed marquetry. This antique Korean chest measures 14 and three quarter inches deep and is 34 and one quarter inches wide. The overall height is 47 and three quarter inches high. Antique table pierce carved anglo India rotating stand circa 1860 Item # 3061 Click HERE to inquire about this item "Antique pierce carved table" This antique Anglo India revolving table measures 28 inches wide at the top and is 21 inches high. The base is 18 inches wide. It was made in Bombay of blackwood, circa 1870-80. The legs end in stylized serpents surmounted by birds. An almost identical example is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Please see Furniture from British India & Ceylon by Amin Jaffer, page 350.
