This circa 1700 table retains its original frame and carved lion stretcher finial; there have been later additions and restorations. The top leaf slides have been reworked and some moldings have been replaced. The top has a later waxed finish. Measurements: under the surface 25.5 x 45 inches; bulbous leg turnings 7.5 inches in diameter; top when open 37 x 100 x 30.75 inches high; top when closed 37 x 56 x 31.75 inches high. The slides work effortlessly and the table is strong.
