The original label is missing but to see a similar chair go to Millers 20th century design by Paul Rennie page 36. Some slight wear to its leather and some small surface imperfections to the chrome but all and all this modernism chair is in and is in excellent original condition. Measures 30 and one half inches high overall, 25 inches wide and 14 inches to top of seat. The seat is 21 inches deep and the back is 24 inches from the top of the seat to the top of the back. This ladder back chair is in excellent condition with well worn bulbous base turnings. This period antique English ladder back chair has the most beautifully made arms and retains its original finish.The chair is made from oak. The measurements are 42 and one half inches to the top of the back, 27 and one half inches to the top of the arm, 17 inches to the seat and 20 inches to the top of the cushion. The seat is an early one but most probably replaced 100 years ago. We believe the chair to date from 1780- to 1800. This item is in our online price guide and is not available for sale

Some minor veneer repairs which must be expected from period pieces. The brass hardware and iron locks are original to the piece including its key. This antique American sideboard has two large hand dovetailed side drawers along with a center drawer.As nice as this piece looks in the pictures it is even more beautiful in person.
