Pair Victorian Walnut parlor chairs c1890 Item # 4371 Click HERE to inquire about this item Pair Victorian Walnut parlor chairs c1890. Victorian armchairs. The scroll-carved frame, which appears to be walnut, was rough-cut by machine, and finished by hand. The same pair of chairs made a few decades earlier would have been entirely hand-carved, with rounded backs instead of flat backs. The Industrial Revolution changed things a bit.
