Measures 23 and one half inches high by 32 inches wide with a door that measures 11 inches by 18 inches. The door has a clear beveled glass insert. Solid brass hinges. Excellent original condition. This bench made American Federal bookcase was made in the Hepplewhite style with French feet, divided light doors,book matched doors and a shell inlaid crest. The quality of this piece is so hight the even the back board is mahogany. The shelves are adjustable and they are solid mahogany. Made to separate into two pieces. The overall measurements are 79 inches high,41 and one half inches wide. The top is 10 inches deep and the base is 15 inches deep. All original including its finish.

The marble top of this antique bedside table measures 23 and three quarters inches by 29 inches across and it stands 28 and one eighths inches high to the marble top. Wonderful American walnut marble top bed side table, circa 1875. Notice how thick the frame that holds the marble is. The whole table was made from solid black walnut. All original including its deep warm old finish.

This Antique rosewood easel with carved Cobra snakes measures 74 inches high overall and is one half inches wide. The tray where the display sits, measures 27 and one half inches long and is 2 an three quarters inches wide. circa 1850 to 1860. This a very rare piece. Its design features hand carved cobras,and lizards. Excellent original condition.This is the only piece like it we have ever seen. We seriously doubt that there could be more than a hand full of pieces like this one in existence. It is also possible that it was commissioned in which case it is the only one.The cobras twist around every piece and the heads hold up the painting tray. Be sure to click each photograph to view this amazing piece in more detail.Carved by a master carver.In the book "Great American Mansions" c1963 page 258 there is a picture of a bed that matches the carving on this easel. - - - - - - - - - - | Antique Cherry Victorian flat top desk c1870 Item # 4232 Click HERE to inquire about this item Rare Antique Cherry Victorian flat top desk c1870. This leather top flat top desk is in excellent original condition including its original finish. This is a top off the link desk from the American Victorian period. This cherry desk has a compartment and drawers on one side and two compartments on the other. The piece was so well made that the doors have double hinges so that if when they are opened if someone were to walk into one of them they would open yet again to stop the door from braking. The tops of both banks are put together with large hand cut dovetails. The raise panels are the best we have ever seen on a desk from this period. All the doors and drawers work beautifully. The desk was made in three pieces so it is easy to move up or down stairs or through narrow door ways. As nice as this desk looks in the pictures we have provided it is even more important looking in person. Measures 60 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 30 and one half inches high. Each bank is 17 inches wide. The inside open space where one sits is 22 and one half inches.
