Early Indonesian merchant teak trade chest c1750 to 1800. This early trade chest is in remarkable original condition with many areas still showing its original painted surface. This chest also retains its original lock and key along with the wooden wheels that allowed it to be moved from merchant to merchant. The front single wide board, skirt front and sides are all hand carved with wonderful decorations obviously done by one of the top carvers of that time. This trade chest also retains its original hinges and handles. Made with large hand cut dovetails which can be seen up close in one of the pictures we have provided. Measures 57 and one half inches wide, 26 and one half inches deep and 35 inches high.

Antique Georgian style hairy paw foot rolled arm sofa c1900. This hand made sofa was constructed in the English Georgian style with hand carved hairy paw feet. Made from solid mahogany with a very strong frame and down cushions. Excellent condition and quite comfortable. Measures 83 inches wide, 20 and one half to the top of its cushions,29 inches to the top of its arms, 35 and three quarter inches to the top of its back and 36 inches deep.

American Victorian bamboo display cabinet c1885. This rare real bamboo display cabinet retains all its original interior and exterior decoration along with the original hand painted enamel Japanese scenes depicting birds on branches among leaves and berries. This cabinet still has its original blown glass doors and brass knobs that were cast to look like bamboo. This cabinet measures 20 and one half inches wide by 12 and one half inches deep,23 inches to the top of the cabinet surface and 53 and three quarters inches to the top of its back.

American Aesthetic Movement furniture ebonized corner cupboard display cabinet c1880. This American Aesthetic Movement corner cupboard has an ebonized original black finish over solid cherry wood. The finest pieces in the American Aesthetic Movement were made from solid cherry because of its tight grain which eliminated cracks, warps and shrinking.This wall corner cabinet measures 22 and one half inches wide by 16 inches deep by 66 inches high. The door measures 12 and one half inches wide by 19 and one half inches high. Excellent condition.

Pair of French hand made centennial inlaid kidney shaped night stands c1880. Each one of these true matched pair of French inlaid kidney shaped night stands have straight tapered legs that are inlaid all around. Their skirts,top,drawer fronts and bottom shelf are also inlaid all over. The inlay work is of exquisite quality. The roses, small flowers on branches, bell flowers, and swags are beautifully executed. There is also boxwood line inlay all over the entire piece. The top is banded all around the outside edged with rosewood. The drawers were each made with fine hand cut dovetails and the oak drawer bottoms are hand chamfered. One top is slightly lighter that the other from favored use. Each stand measures 30 inches high, 22 inches wide, and 14 inches deep. This is the only true pair of inlaid stands of this quality we have had. The original finish on these two stands has a wonderful old deep mellow patina.
