New England Chippendale slant front desk c1790 Item # 4410 Click HERE to inquire about this item New England Chippendale slant front desk made around 1790 to 1810. It has a fairly plain interior, but has nicely beaded drawer edges and detailed cuts on the bracket base. The base is original, and the hardware also appears to be original. ADP Lemco has manufactured institutional furniture and fixtures in Chigago for over 40 years. This is a straight forward, functional, basic desk, it is of good quality, and in good structural condition.There is a very nice wood grain under the darkened old finish. Scandinavian pine dower trunk c1728 Item # 4421 Click HERE to inquire about this item Scandinavian (probably Norwegian) pine dower trunk. The stamped date of 1728 is consistent with the patina and craftsmanship of both the iron strap-work and the case. The boards were hand-chamfered. The red paint decoration on the inside of the trunk is wonderful. The surface is very good because it is unaltered, and shows natural wear.
