This set of period antique English Chippendale chairs were made from mahogany with wonderful cut out back splats. Each chair measures 38 and one half inches to the top of the back,19 inches to the top of the cushion seat,20 and three quarters inches wide at front back to 17 inches wide at its back and 17 inches seat depth. The back of these chairs are molded. Condition. Very good. The chairs are very tight. There have been repairs over the years to some of the back splats and their connections which is to be expected with this type of design. Truly one of the most beautiful English Chippendale designs.
