Period American Hepplewhite cherry butler's sideboard c1790. Two small drawers over on large drawer flanked by two bottle drawers over three drawers. The piece is all original accept its finish which was enhanced many years ago. This is a rare piece of American Federal furniture in a very unusual size. It measures 49 and one half inches to the top of its wave cut back splash, 42 and one half inches wide, 20 inches deep and 40 and one half inches to the top middle surface. Fine hand cut dovetails. The gently scalloped base ends in low French feet.
