Period English sterling silver fish server with bight cut open work design depicting a fish surrounded by acorns and leaves. The workmanship on this piece was obviously done by a master silver smith. We can tell by the date marks that it dates from 1781 to 1782 but we are not sure of the maker. This fish server measures 12 and one half inches long and weighs 237 grams of silver.
