This sterling silver tray was made by William Bayley in London with a bright cut decoration on its inside upper and flat tray surfaces. Later engraved center inscription. Weighs 85 ozes. This piece was purchased from an English Silver dealer by the name of Eleanor Huttom on 59 West Street Dorking, Surrey. RH4 JBS on the 9/21/76 for 730 English pounds or $1299 American dollars. Copy of the original receipt available Period George lll silver is extremely hard for us to come by.The tray measures 22 and one quarters inches wide by 16 and one half inches wide and 25 inches handle to handle.

This sterling silver tea pot was made hallmarked by the maker. T R Head mark of George lll. Most likely made by Edward Robinson who worked in London from his native Sheffield in partnership with Thomas Phipps from 1790. This is a fine example of Sheffield silver work. This tea pot was never monogrammed (no erasures). Overall 6 and one quarters inches high,4 and one eighths inches wide and 10 and one quarter inches long. Excellent condition with wonderful bright cut work and original ivory finial. Column fluted and engraved body.Never monogrammed.
