This lovely "Bateman silver" teapot measures 11 and one eighth inches long, seven inches high and is in excellent original condition. Weights 567 grams. Wonderful bright cut work all over the lid and sides. Bateman English Georgian silver is sought after by a collectors of important antique English silver makers. Double foliate engraved bands around body band of leaves at lid edge gadrooned lip ric rac around base edge. Fine brite cut beading at edges of angled spout.This piece was purchased from the Hobart House in Haddam CT in 1975 and we have a copy of the original receipt.
