This wonderful piece of Japanese hand made coral jewelry was purchased in 1969 from Mayuyama and Co Imperial Hotel Arcade Tokyo Japan for $105 US which was a lot of money in those days. We have the original receipt for the purchase that will be given the the purchaser. The design and carving of this piece was so well executed that it shows color changes in the coral that depict a flower so perfectly. Antique French blue enamel and gold Romantic Bracelet Item # 3802 Click HERE to inquire about this item Antique 19th Century French blue enamel on gold Romantic Bracelet c1850. Romantic Period 1830 to 1850 , royal blue vitreous enamel and seed pearl articulated bracelet of 18k engraved and chased gold. Articulated bracelets were composed of hinged sections, in this example, decorated with blue enamel baton-shaped links. The hidden slide clasp is adjustable so that the bracelet can be worn on any size wrist and anywhere on the arm. The oval centerpiece, comporting a "forget-me-not" flower motif in gold and seed-pearls, can be removed and worn as a brooch. Note de guilloche decoration beneath the enamel and the engraved scrolls which decorate each section. French Hallmarks: Eagle 1838 Paris and Master's Hallmarks. Weighs 45 grams.
