William Spratling Company sterling silver jewelry,This sterling silver bracelet is inlaid with ebony discs. It was made by the William Spratling Company in San Antonio after it was purchase by Alberto Ulrich in 1987. They reproduced the earlier designs done by Spratling. Reference is made to this period in Mexican Silver by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk 20th Century Handwrought Jewelry and Metal work. The bracelet measures 5 7/8 inches inside with a 1 and one quarter inch opening in its back.It is 1 and one half inches wide at the top and weights 102 grams which is a nice heavy weight.

William Spratling Company sterling silver jewelry,This flat braid copper on sterling silver bracelet was made by the William Spratling Company in San Antonio after it was purchase by Alberto Ulrich in 1987. They reproduced the earlier designs done by Spratling. Reference is made to this period in Mexican Silver by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk 20th Century Handwrought Jewelry and Metal work. An example of this bracelet is on page 37. The bracelet measures 6 and one quarter inches inside with a 1 3/8 inch opening in its back. It is 1 1/8 inches wide in center and 1 and one quarter inches at each end and weights 78 grams which is a nice weight.

Taxco,William Spratling Company sterling silver jewelry, This Aztec style cuff sterling silver bracelet was made by the William Spratling Company in San Antonio after it was purchase by Alberto Ulrich in 1987. They reproduced the earlier designs done by Spratling. Reference is made to this period in Mexican Silver by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk 20th Century Handwrought Jewelry and Metal work. An example of this bracelet is listed in their book. The bracelet measures Inside: 2 and one half inches wide by 2 1/8 inches deep. Outside measuresments are 2 1/8" high by 1/8 thick. It is made of the highest quality craftsmanship and with the most wonderful heavy weight of solid sterling silver.

Taxco,Spratling Silver Jewelry, This rare William Spratling Cuff Bracelet was made between 1935 and 1940. It is a fine example of one of the best pieces William Spratling made. This hand made sterling silver cuff bracelet measures 6 inches on the inside with a 1 and one half inch opening. Exterior is 2 inches wide by 2 and 7/8 inches long. Original William Spratling hallmark stamp can be seen on the inside. This piece is listed in "Mexican Silver" by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk 20th Century Handwrought Jewelry and Metal work. It is also pictured in a full page photograph in Spratling Silver by Sandraline Cederwall and Hal Riney with Barnaby Conrad Chronicl Books c1990 page 98

Antique, Mexican sterling silver jewelry,Casa la Aduana, Taxco, Mexico 925 sterling silver hand made dragonfly pin,brooch made c1935 by William Spratling. "William Spratling silver jewelry" is extremely rare. This is the first dragonfly pin we have ever been able to acquire.This unusual Spratling pin is made from sterling silver and teak. It measures 2 and three quarters inches wide by 2 inches long at wing tips. Signed with the William Spratling 925 WS mark. Please refer to "Mexican Silver" by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Beck for similar examples and an explanation of this period of Mexican Silver history and design.
