English solid brass tabletop candle reflector, 18th to early 19th century. Tilt-top with rare checkerboard surface, tripod Queen Anne pedestal base and bulbous center turning. Measures 4.25 inches in diameter, 5 inches high when flat and 7 inches high when raised. Excellent original condition.
Vintage Richard D Scofield Historic Lighting 6 arm tin chandelier with hand dipped candle covers. Excellent working condition. Richard Scofield made the finest exact copies of period American lighting in America and was allowed by Historic Williamsburg to make copies of their collection. The candles are made from real bees wax. After he died at an early age, the company went on under different ownership. The earlier works like this one are coveted by collectors of period Americana. Measures 27.5 inches high x 21 inches wide with a 17 inch long connecting rod.

Cobalt Sandwich glass kerosene lamp on brass marble base c1860, electrified. This lamp is in perfect working order with a lovely new shade. The cobalt in the lamps basin is as intense as any we have seen. Measures 26" H to the harp x 5.5" square at the base.
Pair of flute carved padouk wood lamps. India, circa 1900. Hand carved from single blocks of wood. Note the wonderful angled wave detail at the shoulder. Padouk is a very dense and hard wood that requires great skill to carve. Excellent condition with new linen shades, harps and wiring. Each measures 30 inches high to the harps and 18 inches high to the top of the wood base.

Fantastic vintage pair of Mid Century Modern Reglor gladiator lamps circa 1950-60 in excellent original condition. Dramatically posed, male and female, very Hollywood. Each lamp measures 23 inches high and 34.5 to to of the harp. Bernie Stein and Rena Stein began Regor of California in 1947. Reglor is the combination of the names Rena and her cousin Gloria. Credit for the design inspirations is to be shared with Oscar Vega, a production assistant. Reglor lamps were frequently produced as a male and female pair. Vintage pair of hand made Italian gold gilt, wrought iron and tin 8 light chandeliers in a swirling leaf design. This pair was hand made for an important lower CT estate c1930-1950. The design is spectacular, true to life, depicting leafy vines that have just been caught by a breeze, all swirling around and upward. The leaves are various sizes and are attached to a vine that twists through out each chandelier. They are superlative quality, and truly "One of a Kind." They measures 40 inches high and 36 inches across and has a 37 inches long hand wrought iron chain with hand made multiple leaf ceiling mount that measures 8 inches across. They have both been professionally rewired and are in excellent working condition. I would be willing to sell a a single for $1950. Contact me if you would like to do that.
French 19th century miners iron whale oil lamp with rooster stamped Clozet S Etienne. Excellent original condition including the original iron rooster that unscrews to allow access for pouring in the oil. Measures 8 inches high with a round base that measures 5 inches in diam. The handle moves allowing the lamp to always stay level.
Gilt brass urn lamp mounted with masks of Bacchus and swags of grape vines, circa 1900. Measures 28 inches to the top of the finial mount, 14.5 inches to the top of the urn. The faux marble base is 5.5 inches square. This lamp has a beautiful custom tinted parchment shade that measures 16 inches square and 11 inches high. Good working condition. Bacchus, the Roman god of wine.
Champlevé bronze Chinese urn c1860 lamped. This Chinese "Champlevé bronze" vase measures 23 inches high. The overall measurement from the base to the top of the harp is 37 inches and it has a 7 inches wood vase.Excellent condition with decorative enamel inserted around its mid section. Excellent condition. Champlevé is an enameling technique in the decorative arts, or an object made by that process, in which troughs or cells are carved, etched, die struck, or cast into the surface of a metal object, and filled with vitreous enamel. The piece is then fired until the enamel fuses, and when cooled the surface of the object is polished. The un carved portions of the original surface remain visible as a frame for the enamel designs; typically they are gilded in medieval work. The name comes from the French for "raised field", "field" meaning background, though the technique in practice lowers the area to be enameled rather than raising the rest of the surface. The technique has been used since ancient times, though it is no longer among the most commonly used enameling techniques. Champlevé is suited to the covering of relatively large areas, and to figurative images, although it was first prominently used in Celtic art for geometric designs. In Romanesque art its potential was fully used, decorating caskets, plaques and vessels.
Fine brass inlaid wood Surahi vessel, circa 1870-80. Probably made in Mainpuri, a district in the Agra region of northern India. The artisans who specialized in this delicate work, known as tarkashi, were members of the Ojha caste, whose ancestors migrated from Rajistan to Mainpuri in the 14th century. Measures 6 inches high, a bit of minor inlay loss.
Vintage double tin adjustable candle stick lamp with shade c1950. Excellent condition. Handmade by a tinsmith after a 18th century American lighting design. Measures 33 inches high with a 15 inches shade.

Sandwich glass whale oil lamp in a heart and diamond pattern, circa 1850. It measures 9 inches tall and is 3 and one half inches wide at the 6-sided base.
