American Federal mahogany dining table c1830

American Federal period dining table circa 1830. Unusual swing legs that allow for flexible seating. The top and each drop leaf are made from extraordinary SINGLE figured San Domingo mahogany boards. Measures 43 inches long, 29.5 inches high, 23 inches wide with two 22 inch drop leaves. Total measurement when both leaves are up is 87 inches long by 43 inches wide.

David LeFort tiger maple tea table with candle slides. Queen Anne style with scalloped skirt, two-board top and strong all over tiger maple grain. David Lefort crafted the finest reproductions of period American antiques. He worked for Eldred Wheeler for years before starting out on his own. This table was produced in 1990. He was located at 293 Water Street in Hanover Mass. Measures 26.75 inches high to the molding, 26 inches high to the surface, 28 inches long and 18 inches wide.

Vintage pair of River Bend tiger maple over black porringer top stands, country Queen Anne style, circa 1990. Excellent condition. Unsigned but definitely River Bend. Each stand measures 19 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 26 inches high. The tops have strong all over tiger grain.

Sets 6 easily with wide overhang all around. Very sturdy. Measures 56" long x 40" wide x 29" high; overhang is 12" on the sides and 9" on the ends.

This table is all hand made with wonderful fine hand-cut dovetails. Measures 20.25 inches wide by 15.25 inches deep and 30.75 inches high. Matt's work has been featured on the cover of Fine Woodworking (the world's leading furniture making magazine) three times. He's also written dozens of articles for the magazine. His first book, 52 Boxes in 52 Weeks (Taunton Press), was published in 2018. Matt is no longer crafting tables like this one purchased from him many years ago.
