Eldred Wheeler tiger and birdseye maple pair of stands

Pair of matching Eldred Wheeler tiger and birdseye maple one drawer stands. Made from solid tiger maple with birdseye maple drawer fronts banded in mahogany. Hand dovetailed drawers and straight tapered legs. Excellent condition. Each stand measures 17.5 inches deep, 18.75 inches wide and is 27.5 inches high. These are the best Eldred Wheeler stands we have had. Eldred Wheeler no longer produces fine hand crafted American colonial furniture.

Vintage Italian gilt iron and glass tables

Pair of vintage Italian gilt iron and glass tables. They are very finely made, heavy tables, the work of a master craftsman. Each table measures 30.75 inches high and 29.75 inches in diameter. The glass tops are 3 eighths of an inch thick. The iron legs and cross braces are 3 quarters of an inch thick, and the edges are smoothly finished. They were probably made in the mid 20th century.

Artisan night stand by Matt Kinny (MEK woodworks) in rare makore wood. Makore is a beautiful exotic African wood which is renowned for its great strength and durability. This table is all hand made with wonderful fine hand-cut dovetails. Measures 20.25 inches wide by 15.25 inches deep and 30.75 inches high. Matt's work has been featured on the cover of Fine Woodworking (the world's leading furniture making magazine) three times. He's also written dozens of articles for the magazine. His first book, 52 Boxes in 52 Weeks (Taunton Press), was published in 2018. Matt is no longer crafting tables like this one purchased from him many years ago.

Vintage handmade tiger maple dining table in the country French style by Leonards of Seekonk, MA. Strong all over tiger maple boards. Hand crafted with wooden pin construction, in excellent condition. Note: All the top boards are held together with wooden pins so there will never be any separation, cracks or warping. This wonderful country French design allows for chairs to be unimpeded by cross stretchers. Easily seats 8. Measures 84 inches long by 41.75 inches deep by 30 inches high. This table was specially ordered for a Southport, CT, estate 20 years ago.
