Absolutely gorgeous Victorian cast iron hall tree. Third quarter 19th century. Romantic, naturally aged surface of worn white paint and gently rusted iron, the kind of patina that cannot be duplicated. From a Greenwich, CT, estate that was decorated by Billy Baldwin. Measures 79.5" H, 29.5" W at cross bar, 26" W at base, and 13.5" D. There is a piece missing off the tray insert. A huge handsome antique 19th century cast iron recumbent male lion door stop. This was very finely cast, and has a deep rich patina. Dates from the mid to late 19th century. This recumbent male lion door stop was purchased from a home on Bellevue Ave in Newport RI several years ago. This is the largest lion door stop we have ever come across. It measures 28 inches from paw to tail, 14 inches high, 5 inches deep and weighs an amazing 27 lbs. Pair 19th c cast iron architectural lion masks
Pair 19th century American cast iron architectural roaring lion masks. This is a true matched pair, just found in an important CT estate. Each measures 12.5 inches high, 11 inches across and 8.5 inches deep. The pair is in wonderful condition with no repairs, cracks, or damages. They retain a rich old patina with traces of original paint. One lion has an original casting flaw on the side of its face, shown in the detail images.

Cast iron horse hitching post circa 1850. Original tether ring. The clipped mane horse head measures 8" H x 8.5" L x 3" W; the hitching post stands 27.25" above the ground; the overall height is 46.25"; the shaft is 2.75" in diameter. Fine original estate condition. This well cast horse hitching post was designed so it could be set into a stone wall or the ground. From a Stonington CT estate. Verlag bei E G Zimmermann castiron and bronze stand c1875
RARE Verlag bei E G Zimmermann of Hanau. Exhibited 1876 Philadelphia International Exhibition and the 1893 Chicago Worlds Columbian Exposition. Works from 1842. This stand has a bronze plaque on its top, made from solid cast iron with three eagles on its base. Measures 30 inches high and 15.5 inches across its bronzed top. We have a customer that has emailed us this information "Dear Thomas,thank you so much! I am studying Zimmermann's work and the numbers can date the item: your table is from about 1860-1870. Of about 800 pieces I collected pictures with the numbers they used since about 1850, from 1842 till about 1850 there are no numbers on the castings. All yours, Rob. Noord Holland, Netherlands.

Dimensions, overall: 13 3/4" L x 11" H x 8 1/2" W. Meiji/Taisho Period.
19th century solid brass fireplace fender
19th century solid brass fireplace fender. This surround measures 48 inches wide outside, 43.5 inches inside, 10 inches high at the tallest point, 12 inches deep outside and 9.75 inches inside. This is a very high quality fender made from heavy solid brass with a cast iron insert. The heavy cast iron insert keeps the fender from sliding away from a fireplace when a lit log rolls out into it, preventing the possibility of a fire on the floor.

Period antique French fireplace fire back cast iron 1667. This very heavy antique castiron fire back measures 25 and one half inches wide by 36 and one half inches tall. Very good as found condition.The date mark ANNO 1667 was cast in the bottom border. The scene is a classical image of a woman and children in an orchard. There is a goose in the foreground, and a pair of dolphins form the crest.

French cast iron door knocker ladys hand
Antique cast iron,French,French cast iron doork nocker,This early door knocker is made to look like a ladys hand. The hand is holding a ball and also has a ring on. The door knocker dates from around 1870 and was purchased in France 35 years ago. The door knocker measures itself measures 7 inches long with another 2 and one half inches that would go through a door to hold it inplace. The castiron drop hand measures 5 and one half inches. That is what shows when the hand is down. Very rare and unusual.

Antique "castiron toys" Antique american castiron toys, this cast iron stagecoach with horses and people measures approximately 24 inches long. The horses with their front section of the under carriage retain their original paint along with the seven people (one extra). The coach itself has been repainted a white color. The front bottom right of the coach has a weld repair. The white horse has one foot partically broken off. Six of the people measure 4 inches high, the extra one measures 4 and three quarters of an inch. They all have arms that move up and down.

Old but not original paint, the ride was repainted every year. This vintage carnival horse measures 40inches long, 27" to head, 20" high to middle of its back, 8inches long.
