A superb 19th century carved oak bookcase or music cabinet with lions heads c1850. Measures 82.75 inches high by 16 inches deep and 33.25 inches wide at case, 39 inches wide at crest. This piece is all original including its deep rich old finish, adjustable shelves and hand blown glass door. The bottom of the door has a musical theme depicting musical instruments and sheet music.

RARE Louis XVI period mahogany bibliotheque, last quarter of the 18th century. Lovely narrow proportions. Original glass and marble top. Original finish and brass mountings. Pierced three-quarter brass gallery, door and drawer outlined in brass banding, brass-fluted flat columns, and ebonized toupie feet. Measures 60 inches to the top of the brass gallery, 59 inches to the top surface, 23 inches wide and 12 inches deep with 10-inch shelf height.

There are four book shelves with cut out sides attached to the center pedestal, held together with large handmade dovetails, that rotate under the round stationary top.Excellent original condition. Danner Victorian mahogany rotating bookcase c1890. Measures 60.75 inches high and 24 x 24 inches square. The individual compartments measure from 11.25 inches to 12.25 inches high and 8 inches deep. This bookcase is in mint original condition including its original stenciled Danner label.They were one of the best high quality bookcase manufactures in their day. Danner revolving mahogany bookcases are extremely hard to come by.

English George III butlers secretary bookcase cylinder desk c1790
English George III butler's secretary bookcase cylinder desk c1790 to 1810. This Georgian secretary measures 70 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 95 and three quarter inches high. The piece was made in multiple sections. There is a center cylinder desk, two banks with doors, three tops with divided light glass doors and three cornices. The cylinder opens to reveal an adjustable writing surface. This writing surface can slide back to reveal an area for paper storage. The small interior drawers are each made with fine hand cut dovetails and retain their original ivory knobs. The brass drawer pulls are original as well. This is a very rare piece of period English Georgian furniture in pristine condition. There is one cracked glass and the writing surface leather is missing and should be replaced. Just in from an important CT estate. "English George III Secretary"

Paine Arts and Crafts quarter sewn oak double door bookcase. This wonderful bookcase was made by the Paine furniture company in Boston Mass. from solid oak. The entire piece was made with through mortise and pin construction. C1905 to1915. Measures 49 inches high, 46 inches wide and 13 inches deep. The shelves on both sides are adjustable. Excellent condition. Original finish.

Macey Oak sectional stacking oak leaded door bookcase c1900.They are also called Barrister bookcases. This Victorian oak bookcase is made of four sections, each stacks on top of one another and locks in for a strong fit. This bookcase was made from solid American oak and measures 59 inches high, 34 and one half inches wide, 9 and one have inches deep at three sections and 14 and one half inches deep at the bottom section. Three sections are 10 and one half inches high and the other one is 14 and one half inches high. Retains all its original beveled clear leaded glass. The doors retract and slide out of the way easily.
Pair Eastlake Victorian walnut bookcases c1875
Antique pair of Eastlake Victorian walnut bookcases c1875. This is a true matched pair of period antique American Victorian Eastlake walnut three door bookcases. Both bookcases retain their original finish and wood shelves. Each original shelf has a walnut strip on its front to add to its decorative appeal. The finish on each bookcase could be rubbed out and waxed to a wonderful warm glow. They just came to us from an Boston estate. These two bookcases also retain their original blown clear glass. These two matching bookcases each measure 72 inches wide by 82 inches high with two side compartments that will hold 10 inch books and a center compartment that will hold 12 and one half inch books. The also each have three drawer under their three doors.
Ernest Hagen Pair NY bookcases in mahogany
American furniture maker Ernest Hagen. Pair NY bookcases in mahogany. It is quite rare to find Hagen furniture let alone a matched pair of Hagen bookcases with original labels. "Ernest Hagen" open his business in1858 forming a partnership with his old friend and shop mate J. Mathew Meier under the firm name of Meier & Hagen after buying out their old employers, A. Dohrmann, keeping it up at the old place #106 Norfolk Street. Hagen worked on many important original Duncan Phyfe pieces. Hagen furniture was made with the same attention to detail and period design that Phyfe used so he was recommended by people needing their period pieces restored or reproduced in exacting detail. Hagen furniture is highly sought after and in many important collections. The mahogany he used in this pair of bookcases was the best quality,the carving detail perfectly executed and the divided lights in the door panels retain their original hand blown glass. Each book case measures 55 and three quarters inches wide at the top molding,64 and eleven sixteenth inches high,52 and three quarters inches across their bases and fourteen inches deep. The inside shelves measure 11 and one half inches deep and set into groves so they can be easily moved to any position. Excellent all original condition.

This rotating bookcase has brass heavy solid brass casters and book matched mahogany veneer c1910.
