Pr of tulip top solid stock maple twin rope beds. Early American, New England c1820. This pair of beds where changed from ropes to fix rails with iron brackets. Extremely strong. Each bed measures 46 inches to top of its posts. The headboards measure 18 3/4 in x 36 inches. The outside length of the bed is 83 3/4 inches and the inside measurement is 76 1/2 inches. 38 inches wide 3 3/4 in square posts. Measures 36 inches from floor to the turned foot-board. The rails are 5.5 in x 1 in. Measures 20 3/4 in from floor to top of side rails.
