Vintage Maitland Smith games table with double removable game board inset. The top is hand tooled green leather embossed in gold. The legs are each hand carved in a blind fretwork Chinese Chippendale design. Solid mahogany. Maitland Smith no longer makes a game table this elaborate. The new examples have turned legs and no carving. This table seats four and measures 40 x 39.75 inches at the top by 30 inches high. The removable chess/checkers/backgammon game board measures 20 inches square. Excellent condition.
