Set of 8 country French dining chairs, consisting of six sides and two arms. Classic provincial style with cabriole legs and lyre backs. Very comfortable, recently upholstered in heavy beige linen. Very good condition. The side chairs each measure 37.25 inches high to the back, 19.25 high to the seat, 15 inches wide at the back, 19.5 wide at the seat, and 17.5 deep. The arm chairs each measure 37.75 inches high to the back, 28.5 high to the arms, 19.5 high to the seats, 22.5 inches wide at the arms, 22.5 wide at the seats, and 20.5 deep.
J. L. Treharn country tiger maple tea table with original crackle-painted black base. Beautiful hand construction. measures 25.5" long x 18" wide x 26" high. J. L. Treharn of Youngstown, Ohio, stopped production in 2016 after decades of crafting exact hand made reproductions of Colonial American country furniture. Note the square, not round, wooden pegs, and strongly figured tiger boards. Hand block planed. Purchased 30 years ago from Old Saybrook Country Barn, dealers in D. R. Dimes and J. L. Threharn furniture.
Vintage Queen Anne style tray top tea table. Made by Wilcox Cabinet Works of Marion, Kansas. Solid cherry. All hand made with wooden pin construction and block planed top. Measures 32" long x 22" wide x 27.75" high to top molding and 27" high to surface. Wilcox Cabinet Works made fine reproduction hand made copies of Early American Colonial furniture. They are no longer producing these quality pieces.
