19th century Chinese blue and white porcelain lamp. Hu form with "orange peel" surface painted with mountain and river views. Good working condition. Bronze mountings, no repairs or chips. Shade not included. Height to top of harp is 22 inches. The vase is 10.25 inches high x 5 inches square at the swell x 3.25" square at the base.
Mid 19th century brass chamber lamp with double burner. This lamp burned what was called "burning fluid", a mixture of turpentine and alcohol. Burning fluid was considered more efficient than whale oil, but was highly volatile. Height 5.75 inches and diameter 4.25 inches.
Early 18thc English brass candlestick. This type of candlestick was placed on the candle-slide of a desk. Turned and raised base, drip cup, heavy weight. Measures 4.25 inches high and 2.5 inches across the base. Takes a half inch wide candle. Excellent condition.
Rare vintage O. C. White desk lamp with original Wheeler green enamel on tin shade and iron hook for hanging. Heavy cast iron base for stability. This lamp is signed and has multiple adjustments. We have not seen an O. C. White fixture with a hanging hook like this one. Excellent working condition. Worcester, MA, circa 1910. Height to top of hook is 22"; shade is 8" across; base is 5" across.
